What is PELICE and when?

PELICE is the Panel & Engineered Lumber International Conference & Expo, co-hosted by Panel World magazine and Georgia Research Institute. It has been held every two years since 2008 at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The eighth PELICE will be held again March 31-April 1, 2022.

What does PELICE emphasize?

PELICE caters to the structural and non-structural wood products industries, including veneer, plywood, OSB, MDF, particleboard, mass timber and other engineered wood products. Approximately 50 speakers, including eight keynoters, will address new projects, technologies and markets in those industries.

Who attends PELICE?

The PELICE attendance usually numbers up to 500, composed of ownership, officers, management and supervisory personnel from the leading wood products producers in the world.

Is there an exhibitor element to PELICE?

Yes, the exhibition is held on a Ballroom Floor immediately adjacent the seminar rooms. In 2018 PELICE hosted nearly 100 10×10 exhibitors. The exhibitor event is a key strength of PELICE.

What makes PELICE different from other industry events?

PELICE is unusual in that it draws both the structural and non-structural wood products industries to one event. Along with their own association membership meetings, many attendees consider PELICE their “must-go” event.
