BIO-ENERGY SYMPOSIA & EXPO ANNOUNCES AGENDA

Nearly 30 experts will address raw materials, markets, products and technologies during the Bio-Energy Fuels and Products Symposia & Expo to be held February 4 in the Atrium Terrace area of the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia. It immediately precedes PELICE 2010, which begins the evening of February 4.

Representatives from bioenergy concerns such as GEE Energy, Fram Renewable Fuels, Southern Company, Oglethorpe Power Corp., Integro Earth Fuels, ABELLON CleanEnergy and others will speak on their growing presence in the new generation bioenergy industries.

The Bio-Energy Fuels and Products Symposia & Expo will be held February 4 in the Atrium Terrace area of the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia. It immediately precedes PELICE 2010, which begins the evening of February 4.

Approximately 27 wood energy experts are lined up to participate in the conference. Opening General Session speakers include Brooks Mendell, President, Forisk Consulting, on “Sustainability of Forest Biomass: What’s Demand Got to Do With IT?” Vivek Rastogi, head of Global Business Development, ABELLON CleanEnergy, will speak on “Developing Biomass Clean Energy and Products in the U.S.-Case Studies from India.” Saritha Peruri, Manager of Business Development, Ceres, will address “Dedicated Energy Crops as a Feedstock for Bioenergy.”

The conference will then break into two concurrent sessions, one on Raw Material, Product & Market Developments, and the other on Bio-Process Technologies.

The Bio-Energy Lunch Reception will feature Greg Heck, Principal Research Engineeer, Southern Company, with his talk entitled “Feeding An Energy Hungry Nation,” and Ted Hill, VP of Operations, Multitrade Biomass Holdings, with his speech, “Biomass Power Plants Come of Age.”
